Bank building
February is the quietest month of the year for me. I do around 1/3rd of what I can during the busiest time of the year. So I tend to take some time off during February. A few years ago I was forced to take time off because of a death in the family and I’ve pretty much stuck to that since. The time off that is!
For me this period is about getting some relaxtion in and planning for the busy months ahead, but also I don’t draw on my account for a while as I am keen to build up my betting bank for use at Cheltenham. Hopefully I will be able to put through some big numbers at the festival, so I need to ensure I have a decent sum to hand. A few years ago I switched accounts, a security measure, and forgot to reset the exposure limits. It left me in a right mess on the first feature race on the Tuesday. I’m not doing that again!
Anyhow, we are now past the ‘official’ quiet time and things start to pick up again very shortly. It will soon be all hands to the pumps on what promises to be a massive sporting year.
