Just another Manic Monday
It has proved to be a ‘interesting’ Guineas weekend.
Saturday was OK and I netted a nice result on the big race. The FA Cup final was, I felt, a bit poor as a market. I don’t usually attempt to trade it pre-off, as I likely to be on some big racing markets on the same day, but I was suprised at how ‘inactive’ the market was.
Sunday proved to be a bit of mess. Several loose horses and a major problem on the 1000 Guineas put paid to any chance of a really good day. Curiously this was the second year in a row that there has been a problem in stalls on the big race. By my estimation I reckon that’s at very big longshot to occur.
Today we turn our attention to the UK Bank Holiday. We have a total of 47 races going off across the UK and Ireland each five minutes apart. I think I’ve said this before, but its Marmite Monday. You either love it or hate it. One thing for sure is that in mix of 47 races at least a few are going to throw up some excellent opportunties.
