US PGA – The cut

Now that’s more like it!

Tiger Woods is still playing well and in contention, things would be better without that. But on day two a number of players came in from the cold to put in some good rounds and still themselves near the top of the leaderboard and much shorter in odds. We have the weather to thank, almost an inch of rain fell overnight and strong winds blowing in from the sea made the course incredibly tough. So after a tepid first day we have a good result at the cut and I have closed out all my positions.

Biggest movers to the cut, profit to a £10 stake: –

Jamie Donaldson – 680 to 50 – £126
Vijay Singh – 190 to 15 – £116.67
Trevor Immelman – 710 to 65 – £99.23
Carl Pettersson – 150 to 16 – £83.75
Ian Poulter – 100 to 12 – £73.33
