An evening off?
The Sussex stakes at Goodwood yesterday proved to be a very interesting market. I posted all of the charts from that race on a Facebook page for you to have a look at, but I felt this was one of the most readable markets of the week so far. Most of the other racing yesterday was a little bit quiet, but Galway gives a boost in the evening.
Today we have an interesting card as Galway is running during the afternoon near to Goodwood. Both markets should experience decent liquidity today but it’s worth noting that the Goodwood cards today is back down to the level that we saw on Tuesday. So I have an open mind as to how that will perform, although the early markets seem to be okay.
This evening though is a different kettle of fish. There isn’t much to get excited about this evening and I think today is one of those days when the afternoon should provide the bulk of the opportunity and the evening may be an opportunity to exercise a bit of free time. We also have the Europa league qualifying matches this evening that may provide a bit of a decent distraction.
I’ll certainly be distracted by Southampton’s home match, which I hope they will sail through to take away a decent lead into the second leg.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do today!
