Calm before the storm
Just had a glance at the racing card today and it’s a predictably poor one for Cheltenham week. On this day for my entire exchange career I’ve only had one really good result, back in 2009. All the rest have been very ‘missable’.
So today I am tidying up loose ends and checking everything is in order before the ‘Roar’ meets us tomorrow. Again this year I have been offered hospitality, but I’ve had to decline as the opportunity to be on this side of the fence is too great. I’m checking all my accounts are in good shape, all back up plans are tested and working and all the general set ups are roughly right. I suggest you do the same.
I’ll have two copies of Bet Angel up and running in two different connection modes in case Betfiar’s site comes under pressure. I’ll also be looking to trade on Betdaq as well during the festival.
I’ve done more preparation that usual this year, every slither of percent I can earn over last year will be beneficial; but markets and time wait for no one. If you are not moving forward you go backwards. So that what drives me to do more and more research all the time.
Will this years markets be the same as last year? Will volumes, fill rate, activity be up or down? What effect will the weather have? I’ll keep you updated through the blog as the week progresses.
